Basic requirements of the design draft：

  1. To respect the effort and creative process of every artist, we do not accept AI-generated artwork (including MidJourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, NovelAI, Stableboost, and any other AI image generation software).
    AI drawing tools are based on algorithms trained on vast amounts of data. While they can generate images quickly, their creation process does not fully reflect the independent thought and artistic expression of human creators.
    For every submission event, we sincerely hope that each artwork comes from a genuine creator. Therefore, when uploading your files, please make sure to retain all layers of your creation (whether in PSD or AI format). This helps ensure that every piece is an independent creation by the artist and allows for further modifications and post-processing when necessary.
    Therefore, please do not submit a flattened, single-layer file. If your artwork is created using other drawing software, be sure to retain all original design files or a screen recording of your creation process. If your submission does not meet the above requirements upon VAXEE’s review, your eligibility for internal selection will be automatically revoked. Please take note of this carefully.
  2. The works will be subject to communication and adjustments with the creators based on the actual production yield, ensuring that the quality of the final product is maintained without compromising the essence of the works. Please ensure that the email address or commonly used social media accounts provided during submission are accurate, facilitating real-time communication as the primary mode.
  3. Restriction on the number of submissions: Each person is limited to one design. If a designer is found to have submitted more than one design, the designer will be asked to choose just one for final submission. 
  4. The content of the submission must comply with legal norms, and the contributors should pay attention to make sure that content does not contain plagiarism, derivative work, duplication, hate, discrimination, blood, infringement of others' copyrights, portraits, trademark rights and other related issues.
  5. Submissions must not contain logos, trademarks, company or brand names (examples: Apple, Nike, LV, BMW) or images of copyrighted works (such as artwork, sculpture or architecture).
  6. VAXEE is not responsible for the subsequent legal responsibilities arising from the contributor's stealing, plagiarism, infringement, etc.
  7. The personal data collected during registration will only be used for this event and will not be stored. 
  • Dimensions: 500mm x 420mm (the actual product size is 480mm x 400mm)
  • Resolution: Less than 300ppi with a file size < 300MB
  • Color Mode: CMYK / RGB 8-bit or above
  • Available File Formats: PSD/AI format (for subsequent fine-tuning)
Note: Submissions are primarily for the PA size. Once production is confirmed, creators will need to provide dimensions for:
  • PA M 400 x 312 mm (product size：380 x 292 mm)
  • PE L 520 x 530 mm (product size：500 x 510 mm)
  • PE XL 530 x 580 mm (product size：520 x 560 mm)
If any original creators believe that the final winning submission raises suspicions of plagiarism, please contact VAXEE proactively. We will assist in handling the subsequent matters.


Special Requirements：
  • Because this is a product launched by VAXEE, the VAXEE logo must be clearly identifiable in the design. There is no special limit on the color and size of the logo.

  • Increase the amount of noise (A): 5 or more
Due to production and yield problems, please try to avoid solid colors and light colored designs

Note: We don't want to make mousepads that are prone to surface imperfections which will create excess waste due to having to be scrapped. 

Example 1：
Previously there was no added noise to the PA OUTSET. Although it is a non-solid color, the color tone of the block is simple, and the yield during production is too low
Therefore, we recommend that you increase the noise to improve the production yield.
 

Example 2：
PA Y22 / P22 - mostly in the solid color range. Considering the subsequent production and yield problems, we recommend that you increase the noise.
 
 

If anyone suspects that the final winning submission image is a plagiarism of their own original work, please contact VAXEE and we will help follow-up on the matter.
