We bring you an exclusive interview with "KOA," the creator of the VAXEE PA "Nusi," who ranked third (9.1%) in the Summer23 submission event. KOA discusses how he started his creative journey and shares the motivation and philosophy behind "Nusi." This interview aims to provide further insight for friends who appreciate KOA's work to get to know him better.

1. Please introduce yourself to everyone.
Nice to meet you, my name is KOA. I'm currently working as a web designer.

2. How did you start your creative journey? Is there any story you can share with us?
The reason I decided to start creating art is that I have been drawing since I was a child. I excel in expressing imagined objects and my personal perspective of the world.

3. Can you tell us about your creative process for Summer23 and how it feels to have made it to the second stage of online voting?
When I think of summer, the first thing that comes to mind is the image of carp swimming in a stream. At the same time, I wanted to incorporate some Japanese elements, so I designed the stream to resemble an ink painting. When I advanced to the second stage of online voting, just like last year, I felt extremely happy.

5. Do you have any final words that you would like to share with everyone?
I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who voted and supported me. It makes me incredibly happy to know that my design will be used as a mouse pad. In the future, I would like to challenge this kind of opportunity again.
